This coming Monday marks forty days until our Day of Discernment; a day for us to gather and listen to each other and the Spirit to discern where God is leading us into the future. The date is Saturday September 17 from 9:00-3:00 and everyone in our community of faith is invited to participate.

This is the next stage of our process of discernment that we have been engaged with in 2022 and it builds on the work of the Discernment Group (you can view their slide deck presentation HERE and listen to it HERE).

Registrations for the 17th are now open and you can register HERE.

We are also inviting our community of faith to join together in 40 days of prayer. We have put together a simple set of prayer points and scripture to reflect on and are asking everyone to pray in the lead up to the 17th. You can find this 40 Days of Prayer HERE.

I believe that God has been leading us in this process and that the strategic priorities and goals that comes from the Day of Discernment will have a profound impact on what we do as a community of faith as we seek to see lives changed by Jesus. There will be more information about the 17th as we get closer to it, but for now, please set aside the day and – even if you aren’t able to be there – pray for God’s leading!
