Ephesians 4:11-16

Welcome to the GBC Sermon Podcast, a weekly podcast from Gymea Baptist Church in Sydney Australia. I'm Roxane Lawler, Associate Pastor. We pray you're blessed by listening to this sermon.

This message is part of a series called What Is The Church, where we look at different Biblical images or metaphors of the church.  This week it's the Body of Christ.  Senior pastor Marc Rader looks at various passages such as Ephesians 4:11-16 and explains how unity is an essential part of  what it means to be the Body of Christ. We are to be a people united for God's purposes, to love each other and to forgive one another.

So let us be united, and recognise that the Body of Christ is made up of many parts, and all of the parts are necessary. Let us together be the hands and feet of Christ to those around us, forgiving them as we too are forgiven.

We pray this message has challenged you, encouraged you to pray and seek more of God.  God bless you as you seek to follow Jesus today.

We'd love for you to join us for one of our services this weekend. For more information on upcoming services please visit www.gymeabaptist.org.au
