Being a safe church is important to us
The Safe Church Team plays a key role in ensuring that Gymea Baptist Church is and remains a community and space that is safe for people to come and explore the person of Jesus. The Safe Church Team provides oversight of GBC’s Safe Church Program.
This comprises of -
- Monitoring and reviewing Safe Church Policies and Procedures
- Managing all Safe Church and Child Protection concerns and reports
- Responding sensitively to child protection concerns, and
- Supporting vulnerable people.
