What is Alpha?
There are three elements to Alpha: Connection, Content, and Conversation.

Connection

Most Australians have a spiritual belief, but only 50% of us have someone to talk to about our spiritual beliefs. The Alpha course is a connection point for people who are on a journey to answer life's big questions - the spiritual, the skeptical, and the seekers. Each session we'll have a chance to connect, relax  and build friendships with each other.

Content

The Alpha talks are designed to engage people from all walks of life and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith and unpack the basics of Christian belief, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”

Conversation

One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously).

It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
