From the Senior PastorMarc's Update This weekend we will be finishing our series Origin Story with a look at Genesis 12 – where the action really begins! I’m really looking forward to attempting to tie up some of the loose ends, but am also a little disappointed that the series is at an end. It’s been a lot of fun! We will also be continuing our focus on the work of Hopefield. This week, Vicki will be sharing about some of the partnerships that Hopefield have and are developing. It’s a reminder that the work they are engaged in cannot be done by one organisation alone, but it is also a reminder of the unique place that Hopefield holds in those partnerships. Hopefield have a very good name in our community and this is another reason to be proud of the work they do and our part within it! Once again, I’d like to encourage you, if you are able, to donate to our Hope-tember appeal. We are, once again, seeking to raise $35,000 for a two-day a week trauma counsellor. All donations are tax-deductible and anything over and above that target will go towards other projects. See you Sunday! Marc Rader | Senior Pastor |

Elder Editorial
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3 As most Year 12 students come to the end of their school journey next week, it is natural to feel both excitement and pressure. Exams seem to hold so much weight, and the future may feel uncertain. Yet God’s Word reminds us that our security does not rest on results alone, but on His unfailing promises. Proverbs 16:3 invites us to commit our studies, our plans, and even our worries to the Lord. When we place our lives in His hands, He brings peace to our hearts and guides us forward in ways beyond what we can see. For students, this means working diligently and wisely, but also resting in the truth that our worth is not defined by grades. God has given you unique gifts, and His purpose for your life is greater than any exam score. For parents, this season is also a time to trust—entrusting your children to the God who loves them. May I encourage all students, as you prepare, to pray together. Encourage one another. Remind yourselves daily that God is faithful. Exams will pass, but His love and His plans endure forever. Walk this season with confidence, not in your own strength, but in the Lord who upholds you. Derek Mullins, Elder |
