FAQs

Helpful information for the festival
What's the Christmas Festival?

Lots of people drive around looking at lights, and we hope you'll come see our display. The Festival aims to become a 'must-see' light and activity display that features the Christian origins of Christmas and gets bigger & better each year. It's a reminder that you can't have Christmas without Christ.

How long should I spend at the festival?

Families should be able to walk through the Live Nativity and complete their craft in about 30-40 minutes.

Looking at the window displays could be around 10 minutes, especially if you want to find all the hidden lego mini-figures in the lego window.

What happened to Carols in the Park?

Due to local playing fields being renovated and the instalation of astro-turf, as well as rising production costs, GBC has pivoted away from a large scale event.

During Covid, Carols in Your Backyard was produced, but we are returning to an in-person experience that will grow over the years.
