Greg Williams
Greg started on staff at GBC at the beginning of 2021, assisting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day operational activity of Gymea Baptist Church, primarily in property maintenance, compliance, and events management. Greg has a background in emergency services and currently volunteers as a Chaplain for Ambulance NSW, where he assists with the provision of 24/7 post incident support and pastoral care to Ambulance staff and their families as well as support to bystanders at traumatic incidents. He has diplomas in WHS and Counselling. He is married to Debbie and they have two grown up children.
What do you love about GBC?
“GBC was the church of my youth that introduced me to the love of God and the passion of his followers. I am excited to be back at GBC supporting Christian ministry, meeting new people and reconnecting with old familiar faces. What I see at our church is a loving community of people who are welcoming to newcomers, willing to dream and innovate, and are faithful in playing their part in following Jesus and building his kingdom.”
