Parties With Purpose

Parties were initiated as an opportunity for the women connected with Vigour
to put our church Vision statement into action - Empowered to love God and
engage the world.

The concept is an easy way of bringing people from all aspects of your life
together to have fun, support a need (either local or global) and share why
we believe this is so important, both socially and in terms of our faith.
 
During the month of May when our church engages in May mission month the
Vigour community chooses one of the five ministries selected by the church to
support which is typically women focused.  There will be more information on who
we are supporting leading up to and during May, under the What's going on this month
section on the main women's page.
 
Running a party is easy and what you can do is endless.  Here are some parties
idea from women in the church that have run a Party with Purpose.
 
High tea
Garage sale
Cake stall
Clothes swap
Movie Night
Dinner party
Soccer party
 
All you need to do to get started is register at
have your party and return all funds either directly to church or to one of the Vigour
