We seek to serve our church through music, the arts and technology in ways that help people to engage with God and connect with each other in community. If you’re interested in auditioning to be a part of our Worship team on a Sunday or would like to volunteer for a technical role in lighting, sound or vision, please get in touch with Shandri Brown, Services Coordinator.

GBC Women is the community of women at Gymea Baptist church. It is women connecting, sharing and loving one another. It doesn’t matter what age, what stage of life or what background you come from our aim is to help with the spiritual, social and growth needs of all women of GBC. We also desire the forming of cross-generational relationships as we come alongside each other to encourage, serve and outreach to the greater community for the kingdom.
We run a Facebook page which has more information.
S.O.U.L is a ministry that reaches out to people in the “50 plus” age range. We provide social outings and events that will bring people together for fun and fellowship, while at the same time creating an opportunity of connecting people with one another and new people to our church, thus the name S.O.U.L…”Social Outings Uniting Lives”.
For more information about SOUL or any of our activities, please contact the Church Office on 9521 4611.
Ray Lee House is a social centre for anyone self-caring and over 60. We meet at the Gymea Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings during the school term. For $15 per person, you’ll get morning tea, a two-course lunch, and games and activities.
Transport is available through ActiveUs Community Transport.
Come try us out for free to see if this day out will boost your social life!
Ray Lee House is not a respite centre and is run purely by volunteers. We are not trained or qualified to work with dementia and disabilities. But we do have disabled access and toilet facilities for those who are self-caring and independent.
