May Mission Month – Four great projects and GBC Frontline.

The final total raised for May Mission Month 2017 was $288,267, an all time record for amount and number of people who donated.

All projects exceeded their financial target which increases their capacity. Our planned five wells for the Water for Life project in Benin will now support eight wells in eight communities. We’ll receive GPS co-ordinates of the wells and villages when they are installed.

An additional 37 families will be supported through the Syrian Assist project. An additional 165 families will receive winter support packages (blankets, fuel for heating, food etc).

The Reaching Rwanda evangelistic event (18-24 June) has already seen many stories of people coming to faith.

We will update the projects later in the year to find out how they have impacted the lives of these communities. Thank you GBC for seeing the vision and necessity of these projects and getting behind them wholeheartedly.

The final distribution was as follows: (budget in brackets)

* Syrian Assist: $73,845 ($47,000)
* Reaching Rwanda: $21,023 ($20,000)
* Water for Life: $78,559 ($50,000)
* Life Changes: $73,845 ($47,000)
* GBC Frontline: $40,995
