New Horizons EP
Gymea Baptist church release New Horizons EP
The worship ministry team at Gymea Baptist Church, in Sydney’s South released their new EP this weekend.
The ‘New Horizons’ EP, which contains five tracks written by Ryan Day (left) and Susanna Carter (below) is the first recording project by the church since the 1984 release, “We Have a Hope”, produced by the then worship leader, John Crawford.
“New Horizons” was inspired by the church’s 2015 theme.
The theme has been significant for the church as over the last 12 months they have sought God’s guidance through a significant leadership change and into a season of seeking and trusting God for the future.
“This project has been a significant step of faith for us as musicians and songwriters because it has been our response to what we feel is part of the “new horizons” that God is calling us to,” said Executive Producer and the church’s Worship Ministry Leader, Ryan Day.
This has been a big year for Day who released his debut worship album – a solo project called “The Sending” – in May 2015. One track from the album, called “How Great Is The Love,” is now playing on Christian radio stations around Australia, and has received attention internationally through success in the “Unsigned Only” and “Worship The Rock” song competitions.
The EP can be downloaded free-of-charge via the website: http://www.noisetrade.com/gymeabaptist/new-horizons-ep OR by searching for Gymea Baptist in the iTunes store.
CD copies can also be purchased at the church.
