Valiant Triplets
It is often the case that men do not have a friend or a close mate with whom they can confide in and discuss personal issues be they at home, work, church or socially. Many men may be happy in their particular circumstances with a great family life and leading busy active lives but lack man to man companionship and conversation.
We propose re-introducing the "Triplet System" whereby men with common interests, similar work types and living or working near by (though not essential) can be grouped together.
We envisage a triplet group would meet regularly for a time to share in an activity as simple as having coffee and a chat, exercise or attending a sporting event, through to deep and meaningful discussion. Several groups are currently meeting and enjoying things like fishing and cycling and just talking together.
Praying for each other, supporting, encouraging and generally getting to know each other over time is seen as the goal of these relationships.
