  Men’s Event – 27th August

Mark Driscoll takes a blowtorch to the 21st century Jesus and rediscovers the Jesus of the New Testament.

Mark will be challenging us to put away the convenient, nice, watered down Jesus our society offers and instead engage with the real, life changing and powerful Jesus.  In short, he is going to put a blow torch to the plastic Jesus and help us rediscover the Jesus of the New Testament

Mark is one of the world’s most dynamic and passionate Bible teachers today. He has a particular gift for communicating to people and having them meet Jesus in a fresh way.

For one night only, Wednesday 27 August, kcc is hosting Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill ChurchSeattle) at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Supported by the kcc engage band and special guest Nathan Tasker, the night is going to be huge. We are expecting over 8000 people to attend for a great night of God’s word, God worship and God’s people

2008

Men’s Conference

All day and evening, Saturday, October 25th

Dare to get up and step out

Come and have fun with the other men of GBC and learn what it means to be the man God designed you to be and how to step up and out as God’s man

Small Groups     and     Triplets

It is often the case that men do not have a friend or a close mate with whom they can confide in and discuss personal issues be they at home, work, church or socially.  Many men may be happy in their particular circumstances with a great family life and leading busy active lives but lack man to man companionship and conversation.

Valiant Help - An opportunity to help with practical tasks.  Working bees can be organised to undertake small projects free of charge to assist members of the church community or the wider community.  Contact Paul Carter if you are aware of a need.

A world at WAR - Gary Speckman is keen to offer training for men interested in how to better, ‘ name the name of Jesus’ to other men.  Service, Accountability, Outreach

Valiant Men’s Conference 2008:   This is a fabulous time to leave the world behind, have some fun with other Christian guys and be challenged by our guest speaker and the men’s activities. Plan ahead to make this a priority for 2008.

Stanwell Tops Conference Centre - Saturday, October 25th

Valiant Resources - A place to find practical help for those issues which face each one of us as well as inspiration and encouragement
