who?

Vine is the community of young adults at Gymea Baptist Church. but what is a young adult and what does that mean? a young adult in the Vine community is committed to the life of Gymea Baptist Church and sees their primary community made of up those who attend our evening service. it’s about loving God and living the life of faith wherever we go. it’s about using the gifts God has given us to build up His church. it’s about being connected in one of our life groups for encouragement and teaching and all good things. and it’s about helping others to come to know Jesus for themselves.

where?

the major gathering of the young adults at Gymea Baptist occurs on Sunday nights at the Church.

however we know that coming along to a church doesn't mean that you're part of a community. people need to get to know others and also be known by others. so on top of our evening service, we are encouraging every young adult to be involved in one of our life group. these meet Monday - Thursday nights, and are strongly connected to the evening service. if you'd like to join a group please send us an email.

there are also a number of opportunities for young adults to be involved in serving the body of Christ: children’s ministry, youth ministry, music ministry, mission and evangelism teams, life group leadership, creative ministry and mission.
