May Mission Month Final Totals
On behalf of the missions involved and our own missionaries we would like to say thank you! to all those who contributed to May Mission Month in 2011.
Our target for this year was $180,000 but we are pleased to announce that we have exceeded that target
and the total amount raised was: $198,865.92.
The breakup of funds for each project is as follows:
• Learning for Life (Ethiopia) – TEAR Australia
Facilitate the enrollment of children into the numeracy and literacy program and teacher training of church members $55,653.50
• Healthy H2O (Cambodia) – Samaritan’s Purse
Provide access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation training to community people $55,653.50
• Airwaves into Yemen (Yemen) – FEBC
Support programmers who produce Christian radio programs and buy airtime for broadcasting $26,962.40
• GBC Frontline (Worldwide) – Gymea Baptist Missionaries
Ongoing financial support to our church missionaries who are serving in various countries around the world $19,412.90
• Hope for Change (Sydney) – HopeStreet
Resource the women’s space and assistant the homeless & unemployed begin the employment training program $41,183.62
